Harvest Potatoes

Tuesday September 11, 2007
As the days grow longer and a chill creeps into the night air, every cook has the desire to fill their kitchen with the warm aroma of cozy comfort foods. Fall is the perfect season to experiment with the fresh produce and high quality ingredients that go into these traditional dishes. Farmers’ markets in France are so large they usually take the better part of a morning to fully explore. Potatoes and fresh herbs are stocked in abundance this time of year. Prepare a chicken with Roasted Sage Potatoes and Winter Squash Puree as an inviting way to celebrate fall. Close your eyes, inhale, and you’ll be transported to a farmhouse in the French countryside.
