Wednesday January 16, 2008

As the end of the week nears, indulge yourself with orange crepes after dinner. Since oranges are in season right now, the citrus zest will be at its freshest to season the crepes. Welcome to About’s Super Bowl Appetizer Exchange!

For your Super Bowl party, we've got plenty of easy to make appetizers from around the world. Today’s recipes are from Nancy, our Guide to Greek Food:

Rolled Ham, Cheese, and Phyllo "Flutes" (Zabonotyrofloyeres - accent on the "ye")
Try this different take on ham and cheese. Roll them up in strips of phyllo, dip in egg whites and a sharp grated cheese and fry. They can be rolled up well ahead of time and refrigerated until ready to dip and fry.

Traditional Tzatziki
This classic combination of thick yogurt, cucumber, garlic, and herbs is a versatile addition to any table. Serve tzatziki as a dip with fresh veggies, bread, or crackers, as a spread on sandwiches, or as a condiment with burgers or green vegetables.
