Cajun and Creole Recipes

Sunday March 16, 2008

Cajun and Creole recipes come from a wide swath of geography that encompasses Canada from the Gulf of Saint Lawrence in Northeastern Canada down to areas of Lousiana in the United States. A rich blended heritage of French, Spanish, African, and Caribbean cultures have contributed to flavorful Cajun and Creole food. What a perfect way to celebrate the mixed messages we get from this season’s weather - bright flavors for the warmth, and a little bit of spiciness for the lingering chill. Bon appetit!
