French Dessert Recipes of the Week

Thursday June 5, 2008

The top French recipes list is so popular that I’ve added a French dessert recipes of the week list to this blog. The banana Tarte Tatin recipe has been quite a hit over the last few weeks. Many readers have taken it along on warm weather outings and proclaimed it perfect for the occasion. Make sure to write in if you have a special recipe request; you may see the answer published here!

Here are just a few of this week’s most requested French dessert recipes. Bon appetit!

Today’s Nougat Noir recipe callsw for 1 honey. One what? Teaspoon? Tablespoon? Cup?
Also, can something be substituted for the Buckwheat honey? I’ve never heard of it or seen it!
Please fix the recipe-I’d really like to try it!

My apologies… it was 1 cup. I added it to the recipe. Buckwheat honey has a strong flavor and is available at most grocery and health food stores. Using standard honey as a substitute is fine - the nougat noir will just have a slightly milder taste.
