
I found the first fresh, plump cranberries of the season at my local market and tomorrow is forecast to be rainy and chilly. I can't wait to wake up and get a pan of cranberry pear preserves simmering away on the stove tomorrow morning. With a touch of cinnamon to accent tangy cranberries and sweet pears, this jam is ideal on fresh baked croissants for a lazy day brunch.
