Ingredients:
- 1 14 oz bag dried figs
- 1 cup Sauternes wine
- 1 cup water
- 1 lemon, cut into ¼-inch slices
Preparation:
Combine all the ingredients in a saucepan and bring to a boil. Reduce heat and simmer the mixture, covered, for 25 minutes. Allow the figs to cool in the liquid before serving.
Makes 6 servings.
