Total Time: 45 minutes
Ingredients:
- 1 sheet puff pastry
- 1/2 cup frangipane
- 3 medium peaches, sliced
- 1/4 cup strawberry jam, heated until partially melted
- 1/3 cup powdered sugar
Preparation:
Preheat the oven to 375F. Press the pastry into a 10-inch by 10-inch square on a lightly greased baking sheet and score in half, right down the center. Cut each of the halves into 3 rectangles (without separate the dough), so there is a total of 6 pastries.
Place a generous spoonful of frangipane down the center of each rectangle, arrange the peaches on each prepared pastry, and bake them for 30 to 35 minutes, until they are puffed and golden brown. Remove the baking sheet from the oven, gently separate the pastry rectangles with a spatula, and allow them to cool for 10 minutes.
Dust the cooled peach pastries with powdered sugar. Brush a teaspoon of strawberry preserves down the center of each pastry and serve at room temperature.
