This pecan pie filling is made with maple syrup, brown sugar, butter, and nuts. Use a prepared unbaked pastry shell or make our all-butter pastry or cream cheese pastry.

Pecan pie is one of the South's favorite pies. The nuts are grown in many areas of the South and Southwest, with Georgia leading other states in production. The U.S. produces between 80 to 95 percent of the world's pecans.

Serve this fabulous pecan pie with a big scoop of ice cream or a dollop of sweetened whipped cream or whipped topping.
