Flambe

Definition:

Pouring a liquor over food and igniting it during the final seconds of cooking.

Caution: This is a potentially dangerous technique; only responsible adults should attempt it.

Wear hair pulled back, with a minumum of styling product in it. Lean back slightly as you ignite the alcohol and immediately pull your hand back. Keep a wet towel and fire extinguisher nearby.
